Former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion, Gegard Mousasi was in a lose-lose situation in his Main Event clash with late replacement, Ilir Latifi last night. He was expected to win, so a victory did very little for his hopes of climbing the UFC ladder and if he lost, well it would have been one of the biggest upsets ever in MMA. Thankfully though, for Mousasi, his superior striking saw him cruise to a Unanimous Decision win over the plucky Swede, who took the fight on only 4 days notice.

After back to back losses inside the Octagon, Matt Mitrione said he was desperate to get a win in his match up with Phil De Fries or face the chop. Luckily for the American bruiser, it didn't take him long to dispatch the Brit in brutal circumstances. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu star, Diego Brandao picked up his second UFC win off the belt last with a quick finish of the lanky Pablo Garza in Stockholm. The Ultimate Fighter season 14 winner remained calm in the opening minute of the fight and displayed a more tactical approach to bide his time and lock up a submission with the fight less than half a round old.
