UFC CEO, Lorenzo Fertitta has been giving his thoughts on Heavyweight, Matt Mitrione's damming comments about transgender fighter Fallon Fox ealier this week on the MMA Hour. Fertitta said Mitrione's tirade came off as mean spirited and the matter is deservedly under investigation as it would be in the NFL or any other major organisation.

US based MMA Promotion on the rise, Bellator Fighting Championship's have announced the weight classes due to take part in the Summer Series Tournament and also a change to the format. Heavyweights, Light Heavyweights and Bantamweights are set to be the focus of the upcoming tournament with the promotion deciding to make it a four man tournament as oppose to the usual featuring 8 fighters per weight class.

UFC President, Dana White has been giving his thoughts on the Matt Mitrione interview that ended in the Heavyweight being suspended from his contract with the promotion. White said he see's no reason why the interview should of even happened, going on to say he would be speaking to the UFC fighter's to say they should only be doing interviews in the lead upto fight's, not exactly ideal for the media.

UFC Heavyweight, Matt Mitrione has been suspended from his contract by the Promotion following his stinging comments about transgender MMA fighter, Fallon Fox. During an interview with MMAFighting.com, Mitrione called Fox a lying, sick, sociopathic, digusting freak and that MMA fighter's should protest Fox's involvement in the sport, however it's proved not to be the smartest move from the former American Footballer.
